Dominik Mysterio Injury & WWE Return Update

Dominik Mysterio Injury & WWE Return Update WWE

Following an injury suffered after WWE WrestleMania 40, an update has been provided on The Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio.

On the April 15 edition of WWE Raw, Andrade defeated Dominik Mysterio. During the course of the bout, Mysterio suffered an elbow injury.

The injury was described as “a freak accident” in reports following the match. “Dirty Dom” has been out of action since then despite still appearing on WWE TV.

It was originally feared Dominik would require Tommy John surgery, but he has chosen to go through rehab instead of having surgery done.

In a new interview with The Masked Man Show, Dominik Mysterio provided an update on his injury and revealed he is doing rehab two times per week. Stating that his injury is healing up well, Dominik said:

“Arm’s good, arm’s healing up good,”

“I had a slight tear in my Tommy John ligament, which was kind of like a freak accident in the wrestling world because it’s a baseball injury. But, yeah, about 6-8 weeks. I’ve been doing two times a week for rehab.”

“So I’m just trying to get healthy and trying to get back out there to help The Judgment Day so they can physically start hurting again.”

Fellow Judgment Day member Rhea Ripley is currently on the shelf with a shoulder injury herself.

While Mysterio is injured, he has remained on WWE TV and is currently in a storyline with Liv Morgan who is trying to woo “Dirty Dom” as a way of revenge against Ripley.
