It was reported last week that Rey Mysterio injured his leg in his Raw match with Baron Corbin. His scheduled match the following night against Andrade was cancelled, and it was reported that he was a ‘serious doubt’ for WrestleMania 35.
Per Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer, the former WWE Champion, who is set to face Samoa Joe for his United States Championship on the “grandest stage of them all”, was spotted walking around on his ankle on Thursday night and looks like he won’t have to give up his championship opportunity at the “show of shows”.
Mysterio posted the following video on his Instagram on Thursday and said he ‘prays’ to be fit for Sunday.
