One All Elite Wrestling star who has noticeably done very little in recent weeks has been Pentagon Jr. Now, there is an update on his injury.
Dave Meltzer is reporting in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Pentagon Jr. has been dealing with a leg injury. The injury was reportedly suffered during training, rather than during a match.
Additionally, Konnan provided more details on a recent edition of his Keeping it 100 podcast. Konnan specified that Pentagon’s injury was a calf injury. This explains why he has not been used in a primary role in recent weeks.
Pentagon Jr. was taken out early in his recent six-man tag team match on Dynamite. On the December 9, 2020 episode, Pentagon, Rey Fenix and Lance Archer took on Eddie Kingston, The Butcher and The Blade. Early in the match, Pentagon was put through a table at ringside and his involvement was limited for the rest of the match.
There is currently no work on when he will be able to return to full in-ring action.
