Inter-Gender Match And Ultimate X Confirmed For Impact Wrestling United We Stand

Several more matches have been confirmed for Impact Wrestling’s WrestleMania weekend show United We Stand on April 4, including a rare inter-gender match and the return of Ultimate X.

The new matches are:

  • The return of the ever-popular Ultimate X match, in which Rich Swann will defend his X Division title against representatives from various other promotions. Those announced so far include Jake Crist (Impact), Jack Evans (AAA) and Kotto Bravil (MLW). More names will be released in the lead-up to the event.
  • An inter-gender match between hard-hitting former Knockouts Champion Tessa Blanchard and former Impact World Champion Eli Drake.
  • A stacked eight-man tag match pitting the Impact quartet of Johnny Impact, Brian Cage, Eddie Edwards and Moose against a Lucha Underground team consisting of King Cueno, Aerostar, Drago and Daga.

Those three matches are in addition to the already announced Monsters Ball match between Jimmy Havoc and Sami Callihan, which is a rematch from their showstealer at Impact vs. The UK at Wrestling MediaCon in Manchester last year.

The main event of the show will see ECW legends Rob Van Dam and Sabu reunite to battle Impact World Tag Team Champions Pentagon and Fenix in an Extreme Death Match.

United We Stand is shaping up to be one of the most exciting cards of the WrestleMania festivities, which is saying a lot considering the sheer range of events taking place in New York that weekend.

Make sure you don’t miss out by visiting IMPACTWrestling.com for tickets, which start at $40. The live pay-per-view event can be purchased on the FITE website www.FITE.tv or on the FITE app on all iOS and Android devices, or on Roku, Apple TV, Android TV and FireTV boxes for $19.99 on a stand-alone basis or for $159.95 as part of FITE.tv’s “FITE FEST” bundle of more than 30 events occurring through the April 3-6 weekend of wrestling festivities in the tri-state area.
