An Intercontinental Championship #1 contenders match has been announced for the upcoming Madison Square Garden WWE event.
On March 12, WWE will visit The Garden for a Road To WrestleMania house show, ahead of WrestleMania 39 on April 1-2.
Madison Square Garden have now shared a graphic for a 20-man battle royal, which will determine the next challenger for the Intercontinental Championship.
MSG tweeted:
20 Man Battle Royal with the Winner to face GUNTHER for the Intercontinental Championship at @WWE Road to #WrestleMania at MSG on Mar 12!

– Karrion Kross
GUNTHER has held the Intercontinental Championship since defeating Shinsuke Nakamura for the gold in June 2022.
Since February 9, WWE has touted GUNTHER as the longest reigning Intercontinental Champions of the 21st century.
