Interesting Facts You Might Have Missed Regarding The Revival AEW Debut

In case you missed the massive news from last night’s AEW: Dynamite show, FTR (formerly known as The Revival) debuted for the promotion. Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson, now Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood, saved The Young Bucks from an attack at the hands of The Butcher and The Blade.

While it is very cool to see Wheeler and Harwood in an AEW ring, there might have been some interesting little facts about the duo’s debut for the promotion that you missed.

Just prior to Dynamite, Cash Wheeler tweeted “hey ho”. In case you don’t know, this is what Scott Hall said on WCW Nitro after jumping ship from WWE/F. What is even more interesting about this is that FTR debuted for AEW on TNT on May 27, 2020, which is 24 years to the day since Scott Hall debuted for WCW on TNT in 1996.

During Hall’s debut, he came through the crowd wearing a denim jacket. During last night’s Dynamite, FTR drove up to Daily’s Place and also walked in through the crowd wearing denim jackets. It appears as if this is not just a lucky coincidence, as Dax Harwood has commented on the similarities on Twitter.

What did you think about FTR’s AEW debut last night, and who are you most excited for them to face now they’ve signed with the promotion? Let us know on Twitter
