There seems to have been some confusion among fans regarding the direction of Angel Garza, with staff in the ThunderDome reportedly telling fans to cheer the former Cruiserweight Champion.
The commentary seemed to suggest that Angel Garza was a heel last night, but Bryan Alvarez has explained on Wrestling Observer Radio that the virtual crowd was told to cheer the Raw star.
Alvarez said:
“Byron Saxton, the babyface announcer, is disgusted by this (Garza shoving the rose in Gulak’s mouth), Corey Graves the heel announcer, thinks this was awesome, and for the record, the guy in the ThunderDome told everyone to make sure you cheer Angel Garza. So nobody knows what’s going on with Angel Garza.”

This is not the first time that fans have been left confused by the ThunderDome instructions, as while teaming with heels Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax a few weeks ago, fans were told to cheer Rhea Ripley.
