The interesting plan for the next WWE UK tour, which is scheduled for this coming November, has been revealed.
The tour dates that have been announced are every day from Wednesday, November 3 to Wednesday, November 10, but instead of sending just one group and taping an episode of TV in the UK, WWE is splitting the tour in half between the two brands.
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer explained:
“Usually when they go to Europe, they tape TV in Europe, and they are not taping TV in Europe. They’re gonna be taping Raw and SmackDown that week both in the United States.
“So what they’re doing is, instead of sending a group on a tour to England, what they’re doing is they’re sending the Raw crew after Raw the week before over to England, and they’re gonna stay until Saturday I think. And then the SmackDown crew will leave right after SmackDown on Friday, and go in there, fly on Friday night, and they will start in Europe from Sunday and stay there for the rest of the tour.
“So instead of flying everybody out there and doing a one-week tour, they’re gonna do it this way.”
