There is an interesting stat coming out of the WWE Clash At The Castle.
The announced attendance of 62,296 were loud and vocal throughout the evening in Cardiff, Wales, delivering an electric atmosphere for a memorable event.
During the Clash At The Castle post-show press conference, Paul “Triple H” Levesque said that the attendees at the event came from 42 countries with 72% from outside of Wales.
Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reported that the announced attendance was close to the latest WrestleTix counts for tickets distributed.
This showed the reach of the WWE audience who came out for the historic event.
WWE Clash At The Castle saw Roman Reigns defeat Drew McIntyre to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, thanks to an assist from the debuting Solo Sikoa.
The event also featured Gunther retaining the Intercontinental Championship in a win over Sheamus after reuniting with Ludvig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci as Imperium.
