AEW has announced on tonight’s (January 7) episode of AEW Rampage that current TNT Champion Cody Rhodes has not been medically cleared to compete.
Cody was scheduled to defend his championship against Sammy Guevara at tomorrow night’s Battle of the Belts event.
AEW announced on tonight’s show that Dustin Rhodes will instead face Guevara on the show, with the winner being crowned the interim TNT Champion.
