A new international market is set to host their first premium live event in 2026, per WWE president Nick Khan.
In recent years, WWE has held a number of premium live events in international markets, including the recent Clash In Paris event last month.
Alongside France, WWE has held events in London, Puerto Rico, Germany and Glasgow, and another new international market is set to host it’s first PLE next year.
Per WWE President Nick Khan speaking to SportsBusiness, WWE is set to host it’s first premium live event in Italy in 2026.
Khan noted that the event will be taking place in ‘early’ 2026, though a city or event name had not been given.
The 2026 Royal Rumble will be taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on January 31, while the only other confirmed event for early 2026 is WrestleMania 42, which will once again emanate from Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium.
WWE held an episode of SmackDown in Bologna, Italy back in May as part of it’s European tour on the road to WrestleMania 41.
