International Star’s Contract Expiring, Exploring Options In America AEW

An international wrestling star’s contract is reportedly set to expire in the near future, with them set to explore options in America.

Over the past few years, a number of top New Japan Pro Wrestling stars have left the promotion to move to America, signing with either WWE or AEW, including Kazuchika Okada, Will Ospreay, Jay White, JC Mateo and others.

One name that many have speculated could be set to move to America soon is David Finlay of the Bullet Club War Dogs, and there has now been an update on his status.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Finlay’s contract with NJPW is set to expire ‘in the near future’, with him also expected to explore his options in America, with him having interest there.

Finlay is the son of WWE legend Fit Finlay, who currently works for WWE, and is the brother of current WWE NXT star Uriah Connors, who is a member of Chase U.
