A notable international star is reportedly attracting interest from “multiple American companies” including WWE and AEW.
In what has been a much-discussed moment from STARDOM’s All-Star Grand Queendom event on Sunday, April 27, Austrian star Thekla was fired by the promotion’s president Taro Okada after her loss to Sayaya Kurara.
After refusing to join Kouzen despite previously promising to do so, Thekla lashed out and attacked Okada and other STARDOM staff, leading to her being fired from the promotion.
Following the incident Fightful Select has shared an update on Thekla’s future, revealing that the 31 year old is legitimately done with STARDOM and Japan after being written off TV with the angle.
Thekla will now reportedly be heading to the United States according to Fightful’s sources close to the situation and has hired representation to help her with the free agency process.
Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp noted on Twitter that the companies interested specifically include WWE and AEW.
We will keep you posted with any further updates on Thekla’s future moves post-STARDOM as more information becomes available.
