Two top international stars are ‘expected’ to sign with AEW soon amid speculation of upcoming AEW appearances.
The AEW American Champion MJF made a stop by RevPro last week, where he defended his championship against Michael Oku at the company’s Summer Sizzler event.
Ahead of Oku’s match with MJF in RevPro, it was reported by Fightful Select that both Oku and his girlfriend/valet Amira were expected to work AEW’s upcoming episode of Dynamite in Cardiff, as well as All In at Wembley Stadium.
In an update from Fightful Select (subscription required), sources in RevPro have claimed to Fightful that both Oku and Amira are close to signing with AEW, and are ‘expected’ to soon.
As of now, no deal has been signed, with sources within All Elite Wrestling unable to confirm it to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, but stated that they wouldn’t be surprised to see them end up on the upcoming AEW shows in the UK.
Several talent in RevPro expressed to Fightful their hope that Oku would be signed by AEW, with them touting how deserving he is of potentially being signed, with those sources reinforcing to Fightful that he and Amira would feature at All In.
