Is CM Punk ALL IN?

It has been revealed by ALL IN press conference host, Jenn Sterger that Chicago’s own CM Punk was backstage at the ALL IN press conference last week.

Sterger told the Collider Bodyslam podcast :

“If you got your tickets at face value for this event, I’m just saying it literally might be the best in the world. I will only say someone wearing sweatpants and training for something walked into the back of the building that the press conference was in — with marks, mind you, lining the entire sidewalks in the front of the building — and I just kept thinking ‘if they knew you were back here, they would literally tear down the front of the store.’ What better way — if you were going to make your return to wrestling — than the biggest indie show ever?”

The ALL IN show has been shrouded in secrecy since its initial announcement, with announcements of wrestlers and matches coming slowly. Now, with no one confirming or denying CM Punk’s involvement with the Bullet Club promoted show, Cody and the Young Bucks have themselves a potential surprise that could rock the wrestling world. Punk allegedly was there to pick up shirts from ProWrestlingTees.com but the mere possibility of Punk’s involvement with ALL IN has fans excited.

CM Punk has already been announced for a meet-and-greet on August 31 (the day before ALL IN) and his involvement in the show has been speculated since it was announced that ALL IN would take place from the Chicago area. This would be Punk’s first professional wrestling appearance since he infamously quit WWE in January 2014.

Punk is scheduled for his second pro-MMA fight against Mike Jackson at UFC 225 on June 9 from Chicago, Illinois.
