Lio Rush might be heading back to All Elite Wrestling as AEW President Tony Khan teased the possibility on Twitter.
Khan tweeted today (September 9):
I see a lot of tweets talking about Lio Rush today. Coincidentally, I’ve been talking to
@TheLionelGreen a lot recently about returning to@AEW, and it feels like something that could happen in the near future.
Lio Rush hasn’t tweeted anything regarding the situation at the time of this writing. Stay tuned for updates on the matter.
Rush wrestled briefly for AEW before retiring from pro wrestling.
According to CageMatch.net, Rush last wrestled for New Japan Pro Wrestling in August and last wrestled for AEW as part of the Casino Battle Royal at this year’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view.
