Rusev’s had a rough time of it as of late. Despite being one of, if not the, most popular acts in WWE, the company hasn’t capitalized on his following, being adamant on booking him as a bad guy and having him lose at every possible opportunity.
The annual Superstar Shake-Up takes place on Raw and SmackDown Live next week, in which many a WWE ‘superstar’ will make the switch to the opposite brand, and judging by the following tweet, Rusev may be one of them.
Enough is enough….. maybe it’s time for a change.

Rusev competed in a fatal four-way match at WrestleMania 34 for the WWE United States Championship, which also consisted of then-champion Randy Orton, Bobby Roode, and the winner Jinder Mahal.
Can you guess who took the pin in that match? That’s right, Rusev. A perfect example of WWE trying to hold the ‘Bulgarian Brute’ down, and prevent him from becoming an even bigger star than he already is.
Rusev made his permanent WWE main roster debut on the April 7, 2014 episode of Raw, but switched to SmackDown on June 30, 2015, not as part of a Superstar Shake-Up, but after his storyline with Dolph Ziggler was scrapped.
The ‘Super Athlete’ also made switches in the 2016 and 2017 Superstar Shake-Ups, so will he make it three in a row next week?
Do you want to see Rusev make the switch to the red brand? Let us know in the comments below or on Twitter here, and as always, have a spiffing Rusev Day.
