Is Roman Reigns RETRIBUTION Leader?

Roman Reigns returned to WWE after a several month hiatus last night at SummerSlam, and many people have speculated that the former Universal Champion might eventually be revealed as the leader of RETRIBUTION.

Reigns returned for the first time since March 2020 last night following the main event match of the SummerSlam show, attacking new Universal Champion The Fiend as well as Braun Strowman.

Roman Reigns came back and instantly made the Universal Championship picture and SmackDown scene more interesting, adding some much-needed star power and confirming just how big of a star he is.

During his return, Reigns showed more heelish tendencies, and as such, some speculated that “The Big Dog” is going to be revealed as the eventual leader of the debuting RETRIBUTION faction.

Reigns wore a new “Wreck Everything & Leave” shirt as he attacked The Fiend and Braun Strowman, and some believe that this could have been a nod to the RETRIBUTION faction, who WWE has been saying have been wreaking havoc on TV in recent weeks.

Moreover, this week on SmackDown, Braun Strowman was attacked by the hooded members of RETRIBUTION, so some believe that Roman is going to reveal that he was the man orchestrating the attack from last week.
