‘The Splash Was Unbelievable’ – WWE’s Drew McIntyre Reacts To IShowSpeed WrestleMania 42 Match, Shares Advice Following Appearance

Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre has reacted to IShowSpeed’s in-ring performance at WrestleMania 42, sharing advice for the famous streamer.

IShowSpeed made his WWE in-ring return on April 18, teaming with Logan Paul and Austin Theory of The Vision in a losing effort against The Usos and LA Knight.

Following Paul attacking Speed after the match, Jimmy, Jey and LA made the save and encouraged the streamer to hit Logan with a splash through the announcer’s table.

Drew McIntyre has now shared a video to his Instagram Story showing him speaking about the WrestleMania match and segment with IShowSpeed.

Giving him some in-ring advice, McIntyre said:

“When I was watching the end, the splash was unbelievable. I thought he broke his ribs, you bounced off him.

“The hardest thing to do – Logan has done the same thing, you and Logan are so similar – the hardest thing you can learn is just to be yourself on screen. You just know who you are.

“Everybody can learn the moves, maybe not be as good at executing them, (but) I think that’s easy for you. The personality, knowing who you are, the between the moves s**t, that’s the important stuff.

“Yourself and Logan, you just got it instantly. The fans know who you all are, the fact that they can connect with you is because you know who the f**k you are. Plus you can do the moves.”

Drew McIntyre also came up short in his match on WrestleMania 42 Saturday, losing to Jacob Fatu in their Unsanctioned Match.

The six-man tag-team match marked IShowSpeed’s second in-ring outing in WWE, after his impromptu addition to the 2025 Royal Rumble match.

Gone appears to be the era of one-time celebrity appearances, with the likes of IShowSpeed, Jelly Roll, Bad Bunny and Logan Paul – who has since become a full-time WWE wrestler – wrestling for the company multiple times in recent years.

McIntyre’s comments in the video indicate that he believes that we will soon see IShowSpeed in the ring again.

With Speed clearly having the athletic ability and being known for his entertaining online persona, it would make sense for him to revisit WWE from time to time, with the streamer fitting in well in this industry.
