WWE/Logan Paul
Despite their upcoming tag team match, there already seem to be issues between WWE Champion John Cena and Logan Paul.
At Money in the Bank on June 7, Cena and Paul team together against Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso.
On tonight’s May 30 SmackDown, Rhodes and Uso were in the ring before they were cut off by Cena, who then brought out Paul.
Cena and Paul appeared to be on the same page, as Cena was hyping Paul up as “doing WWE better than any professional wrestler.”
However, there was a moment of tension after Uso challenged Cena and Paul to a brawl right there in the ring.
Cena wanted to stand down and leave the ring, but Paul was keen on agreeing to Uso’s challenge, which led to several seconds of arguing between Cena and Paul.
Eventually, a brawl did indeed break out after Rhodes noted the dissension and asked:
“What are you guys arguing about? You gonna go back there and polish his Peacemaker?”
It was Uso and Rhodes who got the better of the exchange, as they landed their Co-D combo (Cody Cutter + 1D) before standing tall to close the show, with Rhodes notably holding Cena’s WWE Title belt above his head.
