The first-ever IWGP Womens Champion is set to be crowned at the upcoming NJPW x STARDOM Historic X-Over event on November 20, following the climax of a tournament.
The tournament is set to feature independent wrestling stars, as well as some of the best from STARDOM, and we now know the identity of six of the names in the tournament.
Naturally, STARDOM decided it’s participants the only way they know how, with a straw pulling lottery. The lottery saw Giulia from Donna Del Mondo (DDM), Utami Hayashishita from Queen’s Quest (QQ), Syuri from God’s Eye, Mayu Iwatani from STARS, Tam Nakano from Cosmic Angels (CA) and Starlight Kid from Oedo Tai enter the ring.
Giulia, Hayashishita, Iwatani and Starlight Kid were the names that won the lottery, and will represent STARDOM in the tournament.
Another two names announced are Jazzy Gabert and Ava White, who are set to face off in the first round.
