The Raw women’s division received a much needed shot in the arm at SummerSlam, when Bayley Dakota Kai and IYO SKY returned to the company, forming an alliance.
The trio caused mayhem to open tonight’s show, when they assaulted Becky Lynch backstage after her opening promo, attacking her injured shoulder.
The trio then caused more chaos, interrupting an Asuka vs Alexa Bliss match, causing a no contest, before Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair ran out to the ring and challenged any member of the team to a match.
IYO SKY then accepted the challenge, and the match was made official, as IYO SKY would take on the Raw Women’s Champion in her WWE Raw debut.
