WWE star IYO SKY has sent a message after an emotional win over Mayu Iwatani at Marigold Grand Destiny on Sunday, October 26.

In the main event of the show at Tokyo’s Ryogoku Kokugikan, IYO SKY reunited with long-time rival Mayu Iwatani for the their first one-on-one match since their shared time in STARDOM in April 2018.

While the respect between SKY and Iwatani was clear throughout the build to the match, the pair pulled no punches once the bell rang, with SKY pulling out moves that fans of her WWE work won’t be used to seeing, such as a Tombstone Piledriver.

It was SKY’s signature Over The Moonsault that secured the win for the former WWE Women’s World Champion however, with the pair later sharing an embrace after the match was over.

SKY expressed her wide range of emotions that she felt throughout the match in a follow up post on Twitter, saying that she the fact the match had to end left her “heartbroken” .
