Jeff Cobb has given his first comments following the debut of Jeff Cobb during the WWE Backlash 2025 premium live event.
Cobb appeared at the behest of Solo Sikoa to help Fatu retain the WWE United States Championship in the opening match of the show.
However, the story seemed to be that Fatu didn’t appreciate the help and potentially even didn’t know Sikoa would be bringing Cobb with him.
During the post-Backlash press conference, Fatu was asked what he thought of Cobb debuting.
He replied:
“You’ve seen the look on my face. There’s nothing that I can say, even if I wanted to. At the end of the day, we’re still just trying to figure everything out.”
Cobb was referred to on commentary during the match by the name Jeff Cobb, so it at least seems like he’ll be keeping his name going forward.
Big E did, however, say during the post-show that he wasn’t sure if that’s the case:
“We saw the debut of a man once referred to as Jeff Cobb, not entirely sure what he’ll be referred to (as) now.”
