Jacob Fatu Confirms Original Planned WWE Ring Name WWE

WWE’s Jacob Fatu has confirmed his original planned WWE ring name and detailed the origins of his entrance music.

Jacob Fatu officially signed with WWE back in April 2024, with him making his debut on television in May of that year, joining Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline.

Prior to Fatu’s debut, it was revealed that WWE had filed the trademark for the name ‘Caesar Sikoa’, which many believed would be used for Jacob.

Speaking to IGN while promoting WWE 2K26, Jacob confirmed that his original name was to be ‘Caesar Sikoa’ prior to his debut.

He said:

“My name was actually supposed to be Caesar Sikoa, and I was next to Hunter. (He goes) ‘you got your music yet?’ ‘no not yet, I don’t even know what my name’s gonna be’. He turned around like ‘you’re gonna be Jacob Fatu’.”

The Origins Of Jacob Fatu’s Entrance Music

Jacob would go on to detail the origins of his WWE entrance music, and how he would go into a studio to record the opening lines of the song.

He added:

“But then right on the spot he said there’s two songs. The first song, it wasn’t the track I’ve got now. So there’s two songs, the first song, it was different, but the first song, it had my entrance, what I’m saying on it in the beginning.

“So on another note, Hunter played the second one, and the second one is the one I come out to. Hunter liked that one too, but I was just feeling it. I was expecting to come out to a Jey Uso or Jimmy Uso, one of them, but I asked Hunter.

“Mind you it wasn’t even me on the intro, it’s me on the intro now, but I asked him ‘can I take the intro from the first song and put it on the second song?’

“I was trying to be a rapper before I got up in here, so I just told him ‘if you don’t mind if I can say my own thing on there’. He said ‘you can say it?’ I was like ‘yeah’. He goes ‘got a studio right there in the back’, so I hopped on there, I got up on the thing.”

What Is Jacob Fatu Saying At The Beginning Of His Entrance Music

Jacob’s current theme music begins with Jacob himself speaking in Samoan before the music kicks in, striking fear into his opponents in the ring.

The words Jacob says at the beginning of his song are ‘Tasi, Lua, Tolu’, which means one, two, three in Samoan.

Jacob added the Tasi, Lua, Tolu line to his theme song as a tribute to the late WWE legend Umaga, who would shout the words as he pinned his opponents.

Jacob noted:

“A lot of people are asking what I’m saying, it’s Tasi, Lua, Tolu, in Samoan it means one, two, three, it’s something Umaga used to say when he was pinning his opponents.

“But when I did record it, I didn’t start using that version, and I didn’t wanna ask or anything but when I didn’t hear my version, so I just reached and asked Hunter one day in rehearsals ‘can we use my version’, and since then I’ve just been locked in with it.”

What’s Next For Jacob Fatu In WWE?

Coming out of the Elimination Chamber, Jacob Fatu remains locked in a war with former Undisputed WWE Champion Drew McIntyre, with the two likely set for a colossal clash at WrestleMania 42 next month.

Fatu made an appearance during last week’s SmackDown main event, preventing McIntyre from using the championship as a weapon against Cody Rhodes, which allowed Rhodes to beat McIntyre to capture his third WWE Championship.

An ongoing mystery on WWE SmackDown television continues to be the identity of the man who attacked Jacob back in October to write him off television, and while all signs seemingly point to McIntyre being the culprit, there are many other potential options for the attacker, including Randy Orton and Sami Zayn.
