Jacy Jayne Reacts To WWE NXT Women’s Championship Win

Jacy Jayne has reacted after winning the WWE NXT Women’s Championship in the main event of last night’s NXT (May 27).

With Stephanie Vaquer fresh off a successful title defence against Jordynne Grace at WWE Battleground, many fans assumed she would yet again retain her gold once again when she met in the ring with Jacy Jayne in the last match of this week’s NXT.

However, following some assistance from Fatal Influence stablemates Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx, Jayne instead secured the biggest win of her career and ended the 77 day title reign of Vaquer – in what ranks as one NXT’s biggest upset title wins in recent memory.

With fans reacting in shock both at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando and on social media afterwards, Jayne celebrated her win with a message to all those that doubted she could defeat Vaquer and become champion.

Posting to Twitter, Jayne wrote:

To everyone who ever doubted me, called me the third wheel, said I’d never make it…

HAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!! Never doubt me again.

Jayne’s NXT Women’s Title win comes almost five years after she made her WWE debut, and her first taste of gold on the brand since holding the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships with Gigi Dolin in 2022.

Jayne’s triumph was one of two title changes to occur on last night’s show, with Ethan Page also dethroning Ricky Saints to capture the NXT North American Championship.
