Jade Cargill Addresses WWE Champions Photo With Cody Rhodes, CM Punk & Ricky Saints WWE

Jade Cargill has commented on the WWE champions photo featuring herself, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk and Ricky Saints.

The November 1 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event saw Jade Cargill win the WWE Women’s Championship from Tiffany Stratton, and CM Punk defeat Jey Uso to win the World Heavyweight Championship that had been vacated by Seth Rollins.

Cody Rhodes also retained his Undisputed WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre.

After their wins, Rhodes, Cargill, Punk and NXT Champion Ricky Saints all took a photo together backstage with their championships that did the rounds on social media.

In a new interview on Booker T’s Hall of Fame show, Jade Cargill commented on the photo and what it meant to her, describing Rhodes, Punk and Saints as “family.”

She said:

“When we took the picture, it just felt like family. I say that because Cody’s seen me from day one. Ricky’s my best friend in the industry. CM Punk has always been the most honest, most brutal person that I have ran into from day one when I met him. We’ve always had a friendship.

“These are three phenomenal people who have sat with me and who have always been in my corner, and who have seen me go through A to Z. I’m not at Z yet, but have seen me go through so many situations and so many feelings and trying to understand this industry, because this industry will chew you up and spit you out.

“So for these people to see me at the top of the mountain at WWE, there’s no other feeling.

“Punk showed me how to properly use a chair. Cody was in my first match ever. Ricky helps me out with so many things I don’t understand in the industry that takes years and years and years of knowledge.

“These are people that have been in my corner forever, so again, it just felt like family.”
