Jade Cargill And Athena Tease Match In Twitter Exchange

Wrestling Twitter is a wild place where it seems just about anything can happen, including fan favorites interacting and teasing a dream match.

When Jade Cargill tweeted about her open challenge for her AEW TBS Championship, Athena (formerly known as Ember Moon responded to Cargill tweeting a cryptic:

“Hmmmm …”

To which Jade replied:

“Hmmmm? What? Say how you feel if you feel it. I don’t play games. Open up.”

It is at this point as good ol’ JR would say, business picks up as Athena responded:

“Sure .@Jade_Cargill

I’ll give in to your request and ill say loud enough for the people in the back…even though I’m pretty sure I know the answer. GIVE ME A MATCH SO I CAN TAKE YOUR TITLE! Talk to ya boy and make it happen… I’ll be waiting”

Athena’s challenge led to Jade to level this mic dropping moment shortly thereafter, responding:

“You’re welcomed kid. I’m a needle mover. I’ll help you out. Clearly you need it. Looking kind of dry out there without TV.  “

Jade Cargill successfully defended her aforementioned TBS Championship at AEW Revolution on March 6, defeating challenger Tay Conti.

Athena is set to take on a familiar face to some AEW fans at the end of the month, set to face Mrs. Keith Lee, also known by her own ring name, Mia Yim in Dallas, Texas on March 31.
