Jade Cargill has shared her first comments after winning her very first WWE Women’s Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
After coming up short against Tiffany Stratton on three separate occasions since WWE SummerSlam, Jade Cargill finally secured the WWE Women’s Championship in Salt Lake City last night.
In what was a truly dominant display, Cargill build off her recent heel turn by showcasing a far more aggressive in-ring style, delivering consecutive Fall Away Slams and Powerbombs in the closing stages before earning the pinfall win via a Jaded.
In her first comments since winning the gold, Cargill told fans that they were “welcome” for ending Stratton’s 302 day title reign, posting three separate messages to Twitter.
Cargill first wrote:
You’re welcomed
She would then follow up shortly after by writing:
Never say I didn’t do anything for yall
And then finally, in a confident sign off she wrote:
Big Jade
Cargill was not the only AEW alum to have a successful night in Salt Lake City, with Cody Rhodes successfully defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre in controversial circumstances and CM Punk defeating Jey Uso to win the vacant World Heavyweight Championship.
