Jade Cargill References Mandy Rose In Latest Shot At Athena

AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill has referenced NXT’s Mandy Rose in her latest shot at new AEW star Athena, formerly Ember Moon in WWE.

This stems from the controversy in recent months after Athena had made a comment about NXT management wanting all the women to ‘dress sexy like Mandy Rose’.

Since debuting in AEW at Double Or Nothing, Athena has had her sights set on Cargill and the two look to be headed to a title match in the near future, and they’ve been exchanging shots on social media even before Athena signed with the promotion.

The latest shot came from Cargill, as Athena posted a selfie with the caption “Today call me CLASSY and SASSY”, and Cargill responded with:

You ask me. You look rather “Mandy-ish”. I thought you weren’t trying to be sexy? got close to a REAL goddess and seen you have to switch it up! but you guys want this woman to take my spot? Bitch GTFOH.

Well that’s a bit mean.

Their feud has turned into a bit of a three-on-three feud with Jade Cargill’s ‘baddies’ Red Velvet and Kiera Hogan backing her up, and Athena receiving help from Anna Jay and Kris Statlander, so it seems like as well as Cargill defending the TBS Title against Athena, there’ll be a six-woman tag at some point too.
