Jade Cargill has detailed her conversation with Michin and B-Fab after her loss to Rhea Ripley at WWE WrestleMania 42, and warned them to do better at Clash in Italy 2026.
Over a month on from losing her WWE Women’s Championship to Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 42, Jade Cargill will get her rematch this Sunday (May 31) at WWE Clash in Italy 2026.
Despite the sting of losing her title, Cargill has looked her typical dominant self since returning to WWE TV on the May 8 episode of SmackDown, and even picked up a pinfall win over the champion at Saturday Night’s Main Event, when herself, Michin and B-Fab took on Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.
Ahead of her big rematch with Ripley in Turin, Cargill appeared on ESPN First Take and was asked to explain her first loss to “The Eradicator” by Stephen A. Smith.
Admitting she “lost sight of the mission” given the bright lights of WrestleMania, Cargill also pointed some blame at Michin and B-Fab for not “doing their job.”
Cargill said:
“I’m confident. Maybe a little too confident where I was blinded by the lights. I was out there, I was feeling the crowd. They were booing me, I was loving it, I was engaging, and I lost sight of the mission.
“So, she took advantage. She saw an opening, she struck. And it was more so us trying to get to our finishers and she just happened to get it first. I didn’t see it coming, she took advantage of it.
“She had IYO coming out, helping her out. My girls didn’t do their job: trying to assist me with the win as well. They learned their lesson, so this time that mistake will not be made.”

Stephen A. would later ask Cargill to expand on her comments about Michin and B-Fab, with the former WWE Women’s Champion opening up about the conversation she add with them both after WrestleMania:
“I had a good talking to them afterwards. I was like ‘Listen, if you’re going to stand next to me, cuz to stand next to me is a blessing. My presence is a blessing, so don’t just come up here and think that you’re just taking a cakewalk standing next to me. You need to work for my attention, you need to work to stand next to me.’ And they understood that.
“I told them to go after her after I threw her out the ring at WrestleMania. They didn’t go when I told them to go. When I tell you to jump, you jump as high as I want you to go and they didn’t do that.
“So, we had a good talking, I’m not trying to chew them out on national TV on ESPN, but they know what to do from here on out.”
Stephen A. then sought to clarify that Cargill hasn’t fired anyone yet, with Jade responding:
“I didn’t fire anybody yet, but they’re gonna have to bring the heat this time.”

As well as Cargill vs. Ripley, there are three other major rematches at WWE Clash in Italy, as Oba Femi takes on Brock Lesnar, Sol Ruca and Becky Lynch battle over the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship and Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu face off in Tribal Combat for the World Heavyweight Title.
Then, in what is only their second-ever singles encounter, Cody Rhodes will defend the Undisputed WWE Title against GUNTHER.
