Jade Cargill On Grappling Lessons From Bryan Danielson AEW

Leading up to AEW Revolution, Jade Cargill is opening up about her training with Bryan Danielson.

Jade Cargill may be the first All Elite Wrestling TBS Champion but she is still open to learning from the greats of the business and recently opened up to Muscle and Fitness about working with one of the greatest, Bryan Danielson.

Opening up about what she’s learning from the American Dragon, Cargill said:

“I’m learning a whole different style of wrestling. Grappling and that sort of thing. I’m used to the ‘big man’ style of just throwing people. He is such an intelligent man, he has so much knowledge. Right now, I’m actually getting more in-tune with British wrestling and prior to this I didn’t have much knowledge of it, and how different the style is but also how technical it is, so I’m learning all of that right now and trying to fit it into my form of wrestling. It’s a blessing, I’m very thankful.”

Jade also opened up about being able to travel with her daughter who is able to frequently attend AEW shows, saying:

“She thinks I’m a superhero but don’t tell her different. I tell her Mommy is out to save the world… I want her to understand that everything I’m doing is for her.”

Jade Cargill defends her TBS Championship this Sunday March 6 at AEW Revolution against Tay Conti. Elsewhere on the March 6 card, Powerhouse Hobbs Ricky Starks, Keith Lee, Wardlow, Orange Cassidy and either Christian Cage or Ethan Page face off in the Face of the Revolution Ladder match whereby the winner earns a future title shot against AEW TNT Champion Sammy Guevara, Cargill’s mentor Bryan Danielson takes on Jon Moxley and Hangman Adam Page defends his AEW World Championship against Adam Cole.
