A former WWE star who was in AEW at the same time as Jade Cargill has reacted to Cargill winning the WWE Women’s Championship.
Cargill became champion at the November 1 Saturday Night’s Main Event special, defeating Tiffany Stratton for the gold in a one-sided match.
Speaking on his Extreme Life podcast, Matt Hardy noted that he is happy for Cargill, after watching her grow since her pro-wrestling debut.
Matt Hardy said:
“I’m happy for Jade Cargill. I saw her right when she was beginning her career, she was really green, she was learning and she had a great interest in it, she wanted to do it.
“She had an amazing look right from the jump, and she worked really hard at it. She tried hard and she did everything that she could possibly do to be as good as she could and she ends up now in WWE as the women’s champion.”
