WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion has addressed her loss in the quarter finals of the Queen of the Ring tournament.
With both Cargill and Belair competing in the tournament, it had been heavily speculated that the Women’s Tag Team Champions would face off in a Queen of the Ring match.
This was ultimately not to be, with Cargill losing her quarter final match to Nia Jax on the May 17 edition of SmackDown.
Cargill lost the match via disqualification, with Jax goading her into using a steel chair after shouting in the face of Cargill’s daughter Bailey, who was watching the match at ringside.
Cargill has now taken to Twitter to share WWE’s clip of her disqualification from the match.
Revealing that she has no regrets, Cargill wrote:
and I’d do it again! Never mess with my kid! 🤬 #Smackdown
She also shared a clip of Nia Jax getting into the face of her daughter. Proud of Bailey, Cargill tweeted:
and my daughter stood to this monster 10 toes down. PROUD #Smackdown
Jade Cargill’s disqualification loss marked her first defeat in a one-on-one match since joining WWE.
Nia Jax is now slated to face off against Bianca Belair in the SmackDown semi-final match of the Queen of the Ring tournament.
Carmelo Hayes was eliminated from the King of the Ring tournament by Randy Orton during the same episode of SmackDown.
Hayes has also addressed his loss, which you can read more about right here.
