Former NXT star Jakara Jackson has issued a statement after she was part of the WWE releases that took place on May 2.
Jackson had been signed with WWE since the August 2021 SummerSlam tryouts and was a member of the popular Meta-Four group in NXT along with Noam Dar, Lash Legend and Oro Mensah.
Last week – just a week after Dar returned from over a year away due to injury – there was a segment on NXT in which the group agreed to go their separate ways in search of singles success.
Just days later, Jackson and Mensah were released.
Jackson has now posted the following comments:
June 1st I will officially be back on my bs 😌 stay tuned. Until then don’t worry bout me – worry bout ya pockets.
Thank you @wwe @wwenxt for giving me the realization, resources and opportunity to know my potential
Long live thee Goal Digga

In Dar’s absence, Jackson and Lash Legend had continued representing Meta-Four in the women’s tag team division, including appearances on the main roster.
The high point of that was at the WWE Crown Jewel PLE where they were in a four-way for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
We continue send our best wishes to all the released talents for whatever they go on to do next.
