Despite the vocal majority of people on social media obviously hating the Rusev, Lana and Bobby Lashley love triangle storyline, it seems that WWE’s YouTube numbers tell a different story.
The segments are easily the most viewed on YouTube, and as a result WWE has persevered. In fact, Lana will be making a shocking confession on tonight’s Raw, presumably that she is the father of Maria Kanellis’ baby.
One fan was particularly annoyed at the storyline and tweeted at Rusev, to which the Bulgarian Brute replied:
Dear, guy …. nobody cares what you are good with https://t.co/MNJQZSHMra

But it seems that it’s not just fans that have an issue with the storyline, as AEW star and former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jake Hager commented in a since deleted tweet:
“Leave her and that asshole company. #ImWithAEW
As mentioned, Hager clearly realised this might be bad for PR and deleted the tweet soon after, but it’s interesting to see what people within the profession think of this kind of storyline.
Maybe it’s just Hager trying to deflect from the fact that he is the father of everyone’s baby in WWE and doesn’t want anyone to find out or it could ruin his AEW push…
