An update has emerged on Jake Paul potentially appearing for WWE, following his recent boxing match against Mike Tyson.
Jake Paul is a very relevant name right now, with over 60 million households watching his boxing bout against Mike Tyson on Netflix on November 15.
With many sharing their opinions on the event – both good and bad – Paul recently noted that he’d be open to working with WWE as his brother Logan Paul’s manager.
With Jake Paul recently expressing interest in a potential WWE run, we now have an update on WWE’s stance on the the possibility of bringing in the social media star.
Per WrestleVotes on Twitter, WWE has ‘notable interest’ in having Jake Paul appear at a premium live event next year.
Recalling what happened in the immediate aftermath of Tyson vs Paul, WrestleVotes wrote:
Sources indicate WWE has notable interest in a Jake Paul appearance at a PLE sometime in 2025.
It’s worth noting that WWE Superstar Logan Paul and Mike Tyson exchanged words at the conclusion of last Friday night’s fight on Netflix. Time will tell where all this goes.
WrestleVotes is referencing a brief exchange which took place in the in-ring post-fight interview, with Mike Tyson stating “I don’t know, maybe (Jake’s) brother” when asked if he has anyone in mind for another bout.
Logan Paul notably responded “motherf**ker I’d kill you, Mike”, which led some to speculate that the duo (or trio including Jake) could be involved in a segment together on WWE TV.
Jake Paul notably appeared for WWE at Crown Jewel 2022, knocking out The Usos following their interference in Roman Reigns’ WWE Undisputed Universal Championship defence against Logan Paul.
Logan Paul hasn’t wrestled for WWE since dropping the US Championship to LA Knight at SummerSlam. Logan and Nina Agdal welcomed their daughter into the world in September.
