Two weeks ago, a 16-year-old girl took to Twitter claiming that wrestler James Ellsworth had sent her nude photos of himself via Snapchat.
Ellsworth’s lawyers have forcefully denied the allegations, but it’s not looking good for the former WWE star.
Unless they can prove that she came by the photos by some other means, the fact that she has the photos at all is pretty damning evidence.
You can see the alleged victim’s post on Twitter regarding the allegations below:
Here’s the story behind the shit with Ellsworth
Of course people are gonna be on his side, but just know I’m not lying and would never lie about something this serious pic.twitter.com/HWDnSbT2d6

But still, he is innocent in the eyes of the law until proved otherwise, and so should be treated as such.
Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that the alleged incident is likely to be a “career-ender” for James Ellsworth, particularly if he is found guilty.
Unlike in the UK where a 16-year-old is considered an adult, in America, a 16-year-old is considered as a minor, and therefore the alleged offence is far more serious.
Investigations are presumably underway and we will hear in time whether there is any weight behind the allegations.
