There has been a status update on Jamie Hayter following her surprise AEW All In London 2024 return.
During the AEW All In London Zero Hour pre-show, the fans inside Wembley Stadium were greeted to the surprise return of former AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter.
Hayter had been absent from AEW since all the way back at May 2023’s Double or Nothing due to injury, with uncertainty regarding her status for much of that time.
Thankfully, following Hayter’s big return in front of her home crowd at Wembley, Fightful Select have provided more details on her health status and how her return came to be.
As was presumed by her physical confrontation with Saraya and Harley Cameron at All In London, Hayter has been officially cleared to return to action.
According to Fightful’s report, Hayter’s return became a possibility over the last few months, with a “tentative plan” put in place for All In to be the stage for that to happen.
Ahead of this Hayter attended a recent Dynamite taping to meet with Tony Khan, however, this was kept “close to the vest”.
A short squash match was at one point considered for Hayter’s return rather than what actually transpired, with the definitive plans not being finalized until as recently as this week.
WrestleTalk will provide further updates on Hayter’s AEW plans as/when they become available.
