Jay White Addresses AEW’s Hangman Page Following IWGP World Title Win

Jay White addressed AEW star Hangman Page following his IWGP World Heavyweight Championship win at NJPW Dominion.

During the event, White defeated Kazuchika Okada with a Blade Runner to claim NJPW’s top title for the second time in his career.

In his post match promo, the Switchblade called out Hangman Page, who had previously issued a challenge to Okada for Forbidden Door.

Not intending to face Page on June 26, White said:

“Hangman Adam Page, you want Okada? You can have him, because you’re not f**king getting this (the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship), you dumb cowboy bitch.”

Page had called out Okada on the June 8 edition of AEW Dynamite. He was interrupted by Adam Cole who later argued that he deserved a shot at the IWGP World Heavyweight Title.

Also at NJPW Dominion, Zack Sabre Jr challenged AEW’s Bryan Danielson to a bout at Forbidden Door. Hiroshi Tanahashi also advanced to the AEW Interim World Championship contest slated for the crossover event.
