Despite it being reported that his deal with the Japanese promotion expires at the end of this month, former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Jay White is being advertised for a NJPW show in March.
Reports emerged this week indicating that WWE was making a strong play to sign Jay White, with it being unclear whether he is going to re-sign with NJPW or join WWE this month.
As can be seen from the tweet below, Jay White is still being advertised for shows in March, making it pretty unlikely that he’s going to be heading to WWE or to any other promotion for that matter anytime soon.

Dave Meltzer recently claimed that Jay White told people within AEW when they reached out in 2018 that he had just signed a massive seven-year deal with NJPW, meaning he’ll be under contract with the Japanese promotion for another four/five years.
