AEW Star Says Jay White Was On A ‘Silver Platter For WWE’ AEW

AEW star Chris Jericho has commented on Jay White joining the company, arguing that White’s decision to choose AEW over WWE speaks volumes.

Following White’s final NJPW match at the February 18 Battle in the Valley event, there had been a lot of speculation about his next move, with both WWE and AEW interested in the star.

It was announced on the April 5 edition of Dynamite that White is All Elite, after he and Juice Robinson attacked Ricky Starks.

Speaking on the Battleground podcast, Chris Jericho praised Jay White, and his decision to officially join AEW:

“Jay White, what a great example of us still having momentum. Hottest free agent in the world. Silver platter for WWE.

“The guy is 6’4”, he’s international, he has the accent, which chicks love. He’s a great worker, great heel, great babyface. He chose AEW.

“If that doesn’t tell you that something is going on with us, I don’t know what will. Just to continue to build that momentum is a very exciting prospect,”

Following White and Robinson’s beatdown of Ricky Starks, a popular star has teased his return after six months away from AEW.
