Jeff Cobb made his WWE debut at the May 10 Backlash Premium Live Event, siding with The Bloodline and has now received an official welcome.
During Jacob Fatu’s WWE United States Championship defence against Damian Priest, Drew McIntyre and LA Knight, Cobb made his debut.
The former NJPW World TV Champion would be present alongside Solo Sikoa, something to which Fatu responded with an element of confusion.
There would be no welcome extended to Cobb post-match, either, with the United States Champion walking past Sikoa and Cobb.
While Fatu may have been less than happy with the assist from Cobb, Sikoa has welcomed the star into WWE with a post on his Instagram Stories.
As can be seen in the post below this news story, Sikoa posted “Welcome, Jeff Cobb”, along with an image of the pair standing side-by-side at WWE Backlash.
Having previously teased his future plans, Cobb broke his silence after his WWE Backlash debut to reveal he has “beat retirement.”
Following his WWE debut, it was reported that Cobb had been under contract for months and had been on the internal roster for “quite some time”.
