Jeff Hardy was arrested again in North Carolina again for driving while impaired. He was arrested in Moore County, North Carolina on October 3, 2019.
The Moore County Police Department confirmed to the PWInsider Hardy was released around 11:30PM. Officials declined to provide additional information except to confirm the charge, stating it was an ongoing investigation.
Hardy has been out for a while recovering from knee surgery. He was supposed to be out for up to 9 months. It appears he is choosing bad activities to fill his time.
Hardy was already arrested once this year for public intoxication. He was arrested last March.
Hardy has a history of substance abuse. He was let go by WWE after violating the Wellness policy back in 2006 through 2009.
Of course, he also had an incident with Sting back in TNA where he seemed to have appeared under the influence during a match that went as short as Brock/Kofi.
WWE has recognized his issues in the past. They covered his story and struggles in a WWE Network Special back in 2018.
It’s a shame Jeff Hardy has these struggles. He’s such a talented wrestler. Due to these struggles, his career and personal life have to have been affected.
At this point, neither WWE nor Jeff have commented publicly. However, we here at WrestleTalk hope Jeff Hardy gets the help he needs to stay out of trouble and avoid any potential future incidents.
