When Jeff Hardy was released from his WWE contract back on December 7 of last year, many fans were eagerly awaiting the Charismatic Enigma’s return to wrestling.
Like all WWE main roster releases, Hardy was subject to a 90 day non-compete clause, which would expire on March 9, 2022.
Well guess what today is. As of today, Hardy is clear of his WWE contract, and is free to show up wherever he chooses.
Jeff’s brother Matt has also been teasing a character change and a ‘return to Matt Hardy’ on tonight’s AEW Dynamite show. For what it is worth.
