WWE’s resident daredevil and screwdriver enthusiast, Jeff Hardy, recently was interviewed by Planeta Wrestling, where he discussed who he would most like to wrestle in WWE, and his favorite SmackDown moment in anticipation of SmackDown 1000.
Jeff Hardy first debuted in the WWE in 1994, and has faced an almost immeasurable amount of world-class talent in that time. When asked who he would now like to face the most, he responded with:
“There’s a few. Probably right now more than any is, I would say, Roman Reigns. I wrestled AJ [Styles] a lot in the other company and it would be cool to wrestle him now in the WWE. But probably Roman Reigns is number one.”
If Jeff is actually alive following Hell in a Cell, he’s expected to appear at the upcoming SmackDown 1000 episode, and while he didn’t feaure on the first SmackDown episode, he was a part of the roster at that time. When asked what his favorite SmackDown moment was, he replied:
“There’s been so many. I was there when SmackDown started, which is insane. I remember when it first debuted. A lot of crazy things have happened. I can’t really remember one in particular, but I’m sure it is going to be a huge celebration.”
Considering Hardy is a bit of human highlight reel, it’s not surprising he can’t recall one particular moment as there’s been too many to list. One does have to wonder though if his stunt at Hell in a Cell was his swansong, or if he’ll be jumping off more tall things for a while to come.
