A few weeks before his WWE release, Jeff Hardy discussed the possibility of a Hardy Boyz reunion with Matt Hardy.
Following Jeff’s WWE exit on December 7, Matt Hardy has teased a potential reunion of the Hardy Boyz in AEW. Matt and Nick Jackson have also hinted at a possible rematch between the Hardyz and the Young Bucks.
Jeff spoke with Metro a few weeks before his WWE departure, about visions he has had for a team reunion. Not knowing whether he’d next wrestle alongside Matt in WWE or AEW, Jeff said:
‘I totally think there is (a chance of a Hardy Boyz reunion). That’s what’s exciting about it – just being honest, will it be in WWE or AEW?
‘I feel like there will be one more (run). I don’t know that, but it’s like everything I’ve had visions of in wrestling, it’s always happened.’
Following his shock release, Jeff has made appearances on Matt’s social media, and ran a music tour. You can watch Hardy’s first performance following his WWE departure at this link.
