One of the most frightening moments in wrestling in 2020 was when Matt Hardy hit his head at All Out. His match with Sammy Guevara was essentially called off and restarted due to the horrific fall Hardy took. Now, his brother Jeff Hardy has weighed in on it.
In a recent interview with Metro UK, Jeff Hardy spoke about his brother’s injury, calling it terrifying. He did also mention that he is happy Matt is okay but it is part of the game. Here is the quote:
”Terrifying! When he tried to get up and then he fell down – when you hit your head hard, that’s scary stuff. That was scary, man, with Matt – flesh on concrete, it was scary when he couldn’t walk. Gosh, man – thank God he’s okay, but that’s part of the game.”
Jeff Hardy himself has been known to take a dangerous dive or two. He became known for it back in the Attitude Era when the Hardys, Dudleys and Edge and Christian all took part in TLC matches which were among the most dangerous matches of their time.
