Jeff Hardy SHOOTS On Injuries, Schedule and Wrestling Career

Former WWE Champion Jeff Hardy took time yesterday before Smackdown Live to partake in an interview with Click Orlando. In the interview Hardy addressed his return to WWE, the busy travel schedule, his band, and his health after shoulder surgery. These are some highlights of the interview.

On his busy schedule since returning to the WWE:

“Oh God, it’s rough man. It’s go, go, go with the WWE. We returned at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando and reconnected with the WWE universe, and then six months into our first year back I had to have rotator-cuff surgery. So, Matt and I had to Separate. Then when I came back (from surgery) the Monday after WrestleMania 34 I ended up going to Smackdown and becoming US champion, so it’s been a wild time.”

On coming back from his rotator cuff surgery:

“It’s scary at first, you know, intimidating. Every night, I’m going, ‘Okay, this is the night. All them little clicks and cracks in there, I’m gonna hurt it again,’ but so far so good. I’ve had more lower back issues and elbow issues than the rotator cuff surgery.”

On his band Peroxwhy?gen:

“The band is going really well. Naturally there’s not as much time in the WWE, like when I’m wrestling four nights a week, to get together rehearse and do gigs, but we have one coming up next Tuesday after Smackdown Live in Greeneville, South Carolina.”

On being thankful for having a long career in wrestling:

“It’s just exciting to be 40 years old, still painting my face and still having good matches and feeling very healthy. I’m just very blessed and lucky to be here.”
