Jeff Hardy Confirms He’s Joining AEW (VIDEO) WWE

While admittedly fuzzy in audio quality, a new video has emerged of Jeff Hardy interacting with YouTuber Jared Myers and confirming that he is in fact, AEW confirmed?

In the video, it sounds as though Jeff says, “I’m going to AEW, I’m so excited.”

UPDATE: Jeff Hardy has since taken to Twitter to address and clarify his comments.

According to the interviewer, it was meant to be more of a conversation than an interview however Jeff was allegedly aware the interaction was being filmed.

There has been much speculation about what the future had in store for Jeff Hardy who sees his non-compete clause expire presumably on March 9th if it is the WWE standard of 90 days after release.

Recently, Jeff’s brother Matt spoke about their potential future together in AEW, saying:

“Jeff and I both made that deal to each other: we want to end our careers the way we began our careers. We’re getting the opportunity to do that now as all of the planets have aligned. I’m really excited for how 2022 is going to turn out for the Hardys. It’s going to be a great, great year and we’re very much excited to be teaming again and having some first-time matches, which is going to be rare.

“We’ve gone long enough without teaming that there’s all these fresh matchups out there and there’s so many great tag teams in the world. The AEW tag team division is jam-packed and overflowing. If we end up doing something at AEW, I think that’d be very cool, too.”

Jeff Hardy’s potential arrival in AEW continued to be teased not only on television but in the backstage YouTube satire, Being the Elite as well which this week featured the Young Bucks accusing Matt of displaying erratic behavior.
